England's Judd Trump beat China's Ding Junhui 10-4 to win Snooker's World Open final in Yushan, China. 
It was Trump's fifth title of the season and drew him level with Steve Davis on 28 career ranking title wins. Only Ronnie O'Sullivan (41), Stephen Hendry (36) and John Higgins (31) have more.
Trump also successfully defended the World Open title, which he won the last time it was held in 2019 before a four-year hiatus because of the Covid pandemic.

Algeria won the Men's title and Mali were victorious in the Women's competition in the 3 x 3 Basketball at the All Africa Games in Accra, Ghana.
Algeria beat the hosts 11-6 in the Men's final while Mali beat Nigeria 21-11 in the Women's decider.
