Golf - Mexico Championship
From 2007 until 2012, this was classed as one of the PGA Tour's `alternate` events and thus had a field reduced in quality. However, from 2014 it was moved from February to November and granted full FedEx Cup points.
Until the WGC Championship was moved to the country in 2017, it was the most prestigious annual golf tournament staged in Mexico, held from 2007-2022 at the El Camaleon course in Riviera Maya, near Cancun.
In 2023 it was moved to El Cardonal in Los Cabos.
