Bath won the English Premiership rugby title and Irish side Leinster lifted the United Rugby Championship trophy as two of the sport's annual tournaments were decided in London and Dublin.
Bath beat Leicester 23-21 to complete an unprecedented treble this season, having previously won the Premiership Rugby Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup, while Leinster overcame South African side Bulls 32-7 to win a league crown for the first since 2021.

Portugal beat Spain in a penalty shootout to win football's men's UEFA Nations League final in Munich, Germany, their second triumph in the event's history.
It finished 2-2 at full time, and there were no goals in the extra half-an-hour, but Portugal slotted all their five spot kicks, while goalkeeper Diogo Costa stopped Alvaro Morata's attempt, the fourth Spanish kick, as his side won the tie-break 5-3.
