American Nelly Korda equalled a women's golf LPGA record by winning her fifth tournament in a row in the first tfemale major of the year, the Chevron Championship in Texas, USA.
Nancy Lopez (1978) and Annika Sorenstam (2005) are the only other players to have won five consecutive LPGA events.
Maja Stark of Sweden was second, two shots behind Korda, with American Lauren Coughlin and Canada's Brooke Henderson joint-third a stroke further back.

Norway's Casper Ruud won his first tennis title of 2024 when he beat Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece 7-5 6-3 in the final of the Barcelona Open in Spain.
It is the first time Ruud has won an ATP 500-ranked event, the tournaments just below Grand Slam level.
