Rugby - Men's World Sevens Series Champions

An annual series of Seven-a-side rugby tournaments contested by men's national teams inaugurated in 1999/2000. Each of the events on the circuit is contested by the same nations each year. 
At each tournament, points are allocated points on a sliding scale down from the winner to last place. The overall winner of the series used to be the team that earns the most points across all the events but in 2024-25 an end of season World Championsship event was inaugurated and the winner of that was crowned champions. At the end of each annual series, the bottom-placed team is relegated and replaced the following year by the winner of the second-tier Challenger series.
The 2020/21 season was not staged due to travel restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic. From 2026, the top teams qualified for a three-event World Championship series and the most successful team across those events were proclaimed as "World Champions" after it was decided to no longer stage the quadrennial World Cup Sevens.
