World number one Scottie Scheffler won a 20th PGA Tour golf event, landing the Desert Classic title in California, USA by four shots with fellow Americans Ryan Gerard, Matt McCarty and Andrew Putnam, plus Australian Jason Day, tied for second.
Scheffler is the second-fastest player to 20 titles in days taken (1,442), third fastest in events played (151), third youngest (29) to reach the milestone and the third player to win $100m on the PGA Tour.

Perth Scorchers won a record-extending sixth men's Big Bash League cricket title with a six-wicket victory in the final over Sydney Sixers at Perth Stadium, Australia.
After being put into bat, the visitors were dismissed for 132 off the final ball of their 20 overs. Scorchers knocked off the target with 15 balls to spare.
