American Wyndham Clark won golf's US Open in Los Angeles by one shot from Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland. Scottie Scheffler of the USA finished two shots further back in third.
It was Clark's first major title, he had only made the halfway cut in two of his six previous major championship appearances, with a tie for 75th at the US PGA Championship in 2021 his best finish.
