Murphy is Players champion

Shaun Murphy beat fellow Englishman Ali Carter 10-4 in the final to win snooker's Players Championship in Wolverhampton, England.
It was Murphy's first ranking event title since 2020 and he set a new record for the most century breaks made at the tournament (11).
