Vadeni lands Eclipse

Vadeni won horse racing's Eclipse Stakes at Sandown Park in London, becoming the first French-trained horse to do so since 1960.
The reigning French Derby champion is handled by Jean-Claude Rouget and was ridden by Belgian jockey Christophe Soumillon. Mishriff was second and English 2,000 Guineas winner Native Trail third.
