Fitzpatrick wins first major

England's Matt Fitzpatrick claimed his first major golf title with a one-shot victory in the US Open at Brookline in Boston.
The 27-year-old became just the third man from his country in 52 years to win the sport's second oldest major. Americans Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris were tied for second place.
