Rugby - Trophee Garibaldi

Inaugurated in 2007, designed by sculptor and former France rugby union team captain Jean-Pierre Rives, the prize for the winner of the annual France-Italy Six Nations match is named after a 19th century French-born Italian revolutionary - Giuseppe Garibaldi. Prior to 2007, France had won 26 of the 27 matches, with Italy's solitary success coming in Grenoble in 1997.
The only the match for Trophee Garivbaldi has been played outside Paris or Rome was in 2018, when the game was taken to Marseille.
