Rugby - Trophee des Bicentenaires

First played in 1989, to mark the bicentenaries of the latter-day set-up of the two countries (which occurred within a year of each other) Australia and France battle for a trophy designed as a bronze statue of two players in a tackle. Before its advent, France had won 10 of the 18 meetings to Australia's six, with two draws.
