Football - Italian League Title

The winners of the championship of Italy have been awarded the Coppa Campioni di'Italia since 1961, although this title has been commonly known as the "Scudetto" since 1924. The competition was inaugurated in 1898, although until 1929 it was only contested by teams from the north of the country.
