Olympic Games - Boxing

Male amateur boxing has been part of the Olympic since 1904, with the exception of 1912 in Stockholm. In 2012, for the first time, female boxers will take part in the Olympics. Two bronze medals are awarded in each weight category, one to each losing semi-finalist.

The venue used in 2008 was the Workers Indoor Arena, Beijing, China
