Oceania Champions League

The premier club tournament in Oceania was first held, under the name of the Oceania Club Championship, in 1987. Twenty years later it became the Oceania Champions League (`O League`) and decides the continent's entrant for the next FIFA World Club Cup.
Australian clubs have not competed since 2006, due to their federation's decision to leave the Oceania Football Confederation to join its counterpart in Asia. The tournament was not staged in 2020 or 2021 due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The final has been held over two legs every year a
part from the folowing, when it was staged at a single venue:
1987 - Adelaide, Aus; 1999 - Nadi, Fij; 2001 - Port Moresby, Png; 2005 - Papeete, Pyf; 2006 - Albany, Nzl: 2013 & 2022 - Auckland, Nzl; 2019 - Noumea, Nca; 2023 - Port Vila, Van

Oceania Cup Winners' Cup

This attempt to follow the other continent's format for domestic cup winners was only held on one occasion, as a single match between the victors in the Australian and New Zealand knockout competitions - NSL Cup and Chatham Cup respectively. The final was staged in Auckland, Nzl.
