Rugby - Men's Hong Kong Sevens
The premier annual Sevens tournament in rugby is held each March at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, China. It was first staged in 1976 at Hong Kong Football Club, moving to Hong Kong Stadium in 1994 and has been played at its current home since 2025. Until the advent of the World Sevene Series in 1999/2000, teams were invited to take part in the Hong Kong Sevens. The planned 2020 and 2021 tournaments were not staged due to travel restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
