Golf - Japan Classic
In 2019, this event became the first PGA Tour event staged in Japan and was iangurated as the Japan Championship. It was played from 2019-2022 at Narashino Country Club in the suburbs of Tokyo. The top 60 from the previous season's PGA Tour playoff rankings and a selection of top Japan Tour players take part in a restricted 78-player field. In 2020, due to travel restrictions enforced by the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament was played in California.
In 2025 it changed name to the Japan Classic, played at Yokohama Country Club in Yokohama.
