Golf - Japan Championship
In 2019, this event became the first PGA Tour event staged in Japan. It was played from 2019-2022 at Narashino Country Club in the suburbs of Tokyo, moving to Ishioka in 2023. The top 60 from the previous season's PGA Tour playoff rankings and a selection of top Japan Tour players take part in a restricted 78-player field.
In 2020, due to travel restrictions enforced by the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament was played in California.
