Rugby - Doddie Weir Cup

Inaugurated in 2018, the trophy is contested annually only when Scotland play Wales outside of the World Cup..
It is named after the former Scotland and Lions lock who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017.

Before the advent of the Doddie Weir Cup, Scotland had won 49 of the 123 meetings to 71 wins for Wales, with three draws (includes meetings outside of the Five/Six Nations Championship)
