Football - CONCACAF Cup Winners Cup
A short-lived concept which tried to follow in the footsteps of fellow competitions for domestic cup winners in Europe, Africa and South America. It was discontinued in 1995.
In 2001 the CONCACAF Giants Cup was designed as a replacement but lasted just one season. It had a curious entry system...Those teams with the hightest attendances in the CONCACAF federation were invited to compete.
