China's 22-year-old Wu Yize became the second-youngest snooker world champion, defeating Englishman Shaun Murphy 18-17 in the final at the Crucible in Sheffield, England.
It was the first final-frame decider since 2002 and only the fourth time the sport's biggest match had reached a concluding frame since the tournament moved to the south Yorkshire city in 1977.
