Serbia's Novak Djokovic won a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam tennis singles title, beating Russian Daniil Medvedev 6-3 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 in the US Open final at Flushing Meadows, New York.
The 36-year-old matches the mark set by Australikan Margaret Court.
