Northern won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, the first-class cricket championship of Pakistan, with victory over Sindh in the final at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Sindh were bowled out for fewer than 300 in each of their innings while Northern piled up 593 in their solitary knock, with Mohammad Huraira making 221, to win by an innings and 55 runs.
