Monterrey beat fellow Mexico-based club America 1-0 in Guadalupe to clinch their fifth Concacaf Champions League title and earn a place in the Club World Cup.
Rogelio Funes Mori scored the only goal at Monterrey's home ground in the ninth minute of the climax to the North/Central America championship.
