New Zealand won the inaugural World Test Championship Final after completing an eight-wicket victory over India on the extra sixth day in Southampton.
Organisers utilised the reserve day in an effort to get a result after the previous five days were ravaged by poor weather on the English south coast and New Zealand chased down a target of 139.
