India retained the Border-Gavaskar cricket trophy after winning the fourth and final Test match against Australia by three wickets in Brisbane.

With the series level at 1-1 (with one draw), after three epic contests in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, it all came down to the final day at the Gabba with all four results possible.

Rishabh Pant scored 89 not out to guide the tourists to their target of 328 runs with just three overs to spare. Opener Shubman Gill scored 91.
