After being the runner-up for the past two years, Battaash won the top sprint of the Royal Ascot meeting, the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes.

Battaash led from the three furlong pole and was never headed, winning easily by a couple of lengths, a very impressive winner for trainer Charlie Hills.
