Snooker - Australian Masters

The Australian Masters began life as a one-frame event, with a best-of-three final, designed to bring the sport to the public `Down Under` as it had done in the UK. From 1983 it became a 16-man tournament but was lost to the calendar from 1988. It was always staged in Sydney.
