Rugby - English Premiership Cup

The Premiership Cup inviolves the 12 teams in the English top-flight. After an initial pool stage there are knockout semi-finals and a final. The competition replaced the Anglo-Welsh Cup (2006-16), which in turn had taken the place in the season occupied by the English Cup. The tournament was not held in 2015/16 due to the World Cup being staged in England that season forcing the domestic season to be shortened.
Final venues:
2006-2009: Twickenham, London
2010, 2012 & 2013: Sixways, Worcester
2011, 2015 & 2019: Franklin's Gardens, Northampton
2014: Sandy Park, Exeter
2017: The Twickenham Stoop, London
2018: Kingsholm, Gloucester
