Mark Wilson made a birdie putt on the final hole to win the Charity Challenge in La Quinta, California. Fellow Americans Robert Garrigus, John Mallinger and Johnson Wagner finished two shots back in joint second. In South Africa, Branden Grace beat compatriots Ernie Els and Retief Goosen in a home dominated play-off to seal the Champions Tournament in George and claim a second European Tour title in a row.

Neil Robertson won the Masters for the first time as the tournament finished a successful inaugural outing at Alexandra Palace. The Australian led Shaun Murphy 5-3 after the first session and, after losing the first frame at the resumption, proceeded to dominate. Robertson has won all seven of his major finals.
