Golf - Seve Trophy

Created to give Europe's leading players team matchplay practice in non-Ryder Cup years, this event is named after legendary Spanish player Severiano `Seve` Ballesteros and is contested by teams from Great Britain & Ireland and Continental Europe.
10-man teams compete in 10 fourballs, four greensomes, four foursomes and 10 singles. If the match finishes as a 14-all tie, two selected players take part in a greensomes play-off on the 18th hole.
